After Your Dental Cleaning

Caring for Your Smile After Your Visit
Immediately After your Visit: You may eat and drink right away unless otherwise advised.  If your gums feel tender choose softer foods for the rest of the day.

Gum Sensitivity & Tenderness:  Mild sensitivity or tenderness is normal and should improve within 24-48 hours.  Rinse gently with warm salt water and brush softly.

Oral Care at Home:  Brush twice daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and floss once daily.  continue your regular routine and use; any products we recommended.

Eating & Drinking:  Stick to soft foods if your gums feel sensitive.  Avoid very hot, spicy, or acidic foods temporarily.

Staining Awareness:  Your teeth may feel extra clean and smooth - this is normal.  Limit coffee, tea, red wine, or dark foods for the rest of the day if possible.

When to contact Us:  Contact us if pain, swelling, or bleeding worsens instead of improving.  Reach out anytime if something doesn't feel right or you have concerns.

Yes! We accept CDCP and most major insurance plans.  No dentist referral is needed.
